The Solidarity Fund PL, acting under a task commissioned by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is launching a call for applications for Long-Term Observers (LTO) for the parliamentary elections in Moldova (28 September 2025) within the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission.

The deployment of LTO is planned from 20 August 2025 to 4 October 2025.

Requirements:

  • minimum age of 18;
  • a bank account in PLN;
  • a passport valid for at least six months after the closing date for applications;
  • experience in at least two missions as a Short-Term Observer (STO) or one mission as an LTO in an international election observation mission organised by OSCE/ODIHR or the European Union;
  • advanced knowledge (minimum B2) of English and Russian/Romanian/Moldovan;
  • registration (or update of data) in the OSCE/ODIHR observers’ database: https://electionexpert.odihr.pl/Home/HomeIndex.

Applicants must hold Polish citizenship and must not hold Moldovan citizenship.

In the selection process, particular attention will be paid to:

  • knowledge of Moldova’s specific context,
  • prior experience in election observation, including participation in relevant training,
  • the potential usefulness of the observation mission experience for the applicant’s professional work or social activities.
    Knowledge of Moldovan/Romanian will be an additional asset.

The Solidarity Fund PL reserves the right to conduct additional interviews with selected candidates.

Covered costs: travel to and from Moldova, per diems, accommodation, insurance, and local transport. No additional remuneration will be provided.
