New publication (in Polish only): Development Cooperation as a Key Element of Poland’s Smart Power
We invite you to explore our latest publication, edited by Paweł Bagiński, which presents how global, European and national frameworks for development cooperation have evolved – and what challenges and opportunities they bring for Poland’s engagement in building stable international relations, supporting sustainable development, and promoting democratic values and human rights.
The publication argues that Poland can leverage its geopolitical position to engage in development initiatives that not only support partner countries but also strengthen Poland’s role as a responsible member of the international community. A well-functioning development cooperation system can serve as a tool to actively support other states – including, in particular, Ukraine – and to contribute to solving global challenges in line with Poland’s potential and ambitions. At stake are our shared security and prosperity.
We thank all the contributing authors for sharing their expertise and for making this publication possible.
