On the 8 May 2020 Chernihiv Central District Hospital received a donation of personal protection equipment purchased by the Solidarity Fund PL Representative Office in Ukraine. The hospital has received 550 sets comprising reusable protective bodysuits, FFP-3 protective masks and nitrile gloves, as well as 4 non-contact thermometers.

Personal protection equipment has also been supplied to the Mena Central District Hospital. The hospital received 50 sets comprising of reusable protective bodysuits, FFP-3 protective masks, one hundred pairs of nitrile gloves, as well as 10 sets of disinfectants.

The resources were purchased upon consultation with hospitals’ management, Chernihiv Oblast State Administration, Mena OTH* and Raion Authorities.

The purchase of the protective equipment and disinfectants was financed by the Polish development cooperation programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
